Post Session Care

Integration after receiving a session is as important as the session itself.

Pausing for the time of a session to relax, reset, release. And then what happens? Below you’ll find some self-care suggestions to make the most of what you received in your session.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for the next 24 hours to let your body integrate the adjustments.

  • If we used cupping or bodywork during your session, you might feel tender like if you had a light workout or have some bruising from the cups. It is normal and all will resolve within a few days as the body rejuvenates itself.

  • Don't plan any big meetings after the session, if possible, give yourself space for slowing down and rest.

  • Have a healthy nourishing meal

  • Hydrate yourself well with water. Drinking water will flush out all toxins moved during the session and rehydrate the fascia.

When we work with the body, we work with emotions. Some emotions that were stuck might bubble up to the surface to be released after the session. Stress is released from the body to find deeper relaxation.
