WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL
A Gentle Space to Come Home to Yourself
WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach to healing that works with the body’s natural rhythms—subtle yet profound. Rooted in osteopathy and guided by deep listening, this therapy supports the body in returning to its own inherent intelligence and ease.
Craniosacral therapy has evolved through various schools, including biodynamic, visionary, and biomechanical approaches. Cécile has trained across these traditions and recognises that they all live within the same healing field—each offering something unique. The approach naturally adapts to the client and their needs in the moment, guided by presence, trust, and deep listening.
Using light, mindful touch, craniosacral therapy helps release tension in the nervous system, regulate the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, and restore balance throughout the body—particularly the spine, skull, fascia, and deep organs.
A Therapy That Listens
Rather than ‘fixing’, craniosacral therapy offers a space for your body to unwind at its own pace.
It follows the innate wisdom within you—the quiet intelligence that knows how to heal, once given safety and stillness.
Clients often describe the experience as deeply calming, as if entering a state of rest beyond sleep.
The body softens. The breath deepens. Something inside begins to settle.
Support for Nervous System Regulation
This gentle modality is especially supportive for those experiencing:
Chronic stress or burnout
Emotional overwhelm and anxiety
Trauma, grief, or complex PTSD
Short, shallow breathing
Sleep issues or nervous system dysregulation
Tension, headaches, jaw pain, pelvic/hips pain, digestive discomfort
Craniosacral therapy helps regulate the vagus nerve, calm the fight-or-flight response, and invite the body into a parasympathetic state of restoration.
Held in Safety and Compassion
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I hold space with deep care. You are always in control.
There is no pressure to speak, explain, or re-live anything. Your body leads the way.
I bring over a decade of experience in somatic healing, nervous system education, and subtle bodywork.
Together, we create a field of safety—where what is held in the body can gently be seen, softened, and released.
Craniosacral Therapy in Practice
Sessions are held fully clothed in a quiet, nurturing space. You will lie comfortably on a massage table while I use light contact, sometimes more hands on contact for specific release—often at the head, spine, sacrum, or feet, chest, back.
A Therapy for These Times
In a world that often asks us to move faster, perform more, and hold everything in—
craniosacral therapy offers the rare medicine of slowing down, of listening inward.
It is not only a therapy of touch—but of remembrance.
Of your body’s wisdom.
Of your capacity to rest.
Of your right to feel whole.
